Preventative physiotherapy interventions are an emerging type of care. Preventative physiotherapy is a proactive approach to maintaining your physical health and preventing injuries before they occur, and keeping old injuries from recurring. By identifying and addressing potential issues early on, as well as thoroughly reassessing old areas of injury, I can help you improve your overall physical performance, reduce your risk of injury, and enhance your quality of life.
I will work with you to develop customized treatment plans that are designed to address your unique needs and goals, all while addressing previous and/or current injuries. Preventative physiotherapy is mainly an active approach, and it may include exercises to improve flexibility, strength, cardiovascular health, and balance, as well as techniques to improve posture and prevent overuse injuries.
